In 2019, the most common type of indicators for both center- and home-based programs are related to staff qualifications and training (93% and 90%, respectively), which include standards related to teachers' education, training, and years of experience. This is closely followed by indicators related to the quality of the environment (91% for centers, 90% for homes).

Across indicators, there are several differences between centers and homes. The biggest difference is seen in the inclusion of indicators related to interactions (81% for centers and 71% for homes).

Note that the staff compensation and benefits question was not asked for home-based programs because it refers to benefits that are particular to centers alone.
